Serving as the on-call landscape architect for the City of Brentwood, Planning Design Studio led a team of designers to develop a master plan and construction documents for the renovation of Hanley Park. This project included the removal of two seldom used handball courts. The centerpiece of the project was the construction of a new concrete, post-tensioned basketball court, that included a refreshingly vibrant, multi-colored surface.

A seating area featuring weathered paving stones and landscaping was strategically located to be shared by users of both courts. The new courts were a welcomed addition to the Brentwood Park system and are highly used.
