Jonathan has a passion for creating spaces that bring joy to the people and is enthusiastic about enhancing the natural ecosystem. His wide-range of experience includes master planning, concept design, graphics, computer modeling, GIS and construction documentation.  He has broad project experience from around the world.  He has worked with small, local communities to create parks and trails, and developed designs for large scale, award winning civic, commercial and mixed-use community projects.

Before joining PDS, Jonathan spent 5 years working in Shanghai, China with AECOM, one of the world’s largest design firms, creating new parks, roads, shopping and living centers all across China. Some of his work there included the Yang River Park in Ningbo and the Pingan Finantial center in Hangzhou. His work with PDS includes master plans for the St. Louis County Park system and the River Des Peres Greenway.  Outside of work Jonathan enjoys spending time with his family, traveling around the world, and learning new skills for building projects around his house and garden.
