Planning Design Studio is currently working with TWM (engineers) to develop a bike trail master plan for St. Charles County Parks. The project identifies the optimal trail route from the Katy Trail trailhead in Matson, MO to Matson Hill Park. The plan identifies alternative on-street routes and various routes to destinations within Matson Hill Park. Planning Design Studio’s role is to identify pros & cons of possible routes, determine aesthetic enhancements and interpretation opportunities and to provide input on cost implications of the enhancements. The planning phase will be followed by the development of construction documents in early 2021.
